Exterior Handle Actuation Components
This combination includes the components that connect the exterior door handle to the latch, allowing the door to be opened from outside the vehicle.
How It Works
The RLR (Rotating Lever Receiver) mounts to the slide plate and accepts the exterior door handle. As the handle is rotated, it pushes the slide plate downward.
The slide plate is attached to the latch assembly and interacts with the latch actuating pawl. This motion releases the latch, allowing the door to open.
