Optional Lock Bag Altman Easy Latch™ for 1952-1966 Chevy - OLB-101

This kit gives you the pieces you need to install lock tabs to your Altman Easy Latch (1952-1966 Chevy/GMC Trucks) that work with power lock actuators. These little lock levers attach to the top plate of the Altman Easy Latch™. When you connect your power lock actuators, you can lock and unlock the door latches. The lock lever interacts with the exterior release lever. Blocking it from moving when locked and swinging out of the way when unlocked to allow the lever to move.

If you purchased an AEL kit for these trucks prior to August 2024, you may have the old style locks attached. If you wish to do so, you can install this new style of lock on older latches. It will require you to mark, drill, and tap a single hole in your latch top plate. You can view the installation instructions on this page.
