The Altman Easy Latch™ kit is a vehicle-specific, bolt-on rotary claw latch system. Each kit is engineered to work with your factory exterior and interior handles, as well as the original door lock cylinders, ensuring proper function and integration. Contoured jamb plates are designed to match your vehicle’s door profile for accurate fitment. All components are zinc plated for corrosion resistance, with case-hardened internal claws for long-term durability. Each kit includes everything needed for two doors: vehicle-specific latches, jamb plates, striker plates, stainless steel striker bolts, templates, hardware, and detailed instructions. The result is a smoother, more secure, and consistent door closing experience.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes
Interior Panel Fitment: The jamb plates in this kit will not work with the factory long interior panel. That panel must be removed.
If you want to retain your factory panel, please use our alternate kit. AEL-CT5559I
Interior Locking: This latch does not allow you to lock the vehicle from the inside. To do so, you must install power lock actuators.
Power Locks: If installing power lock actuators, you will need Optional Lock Kit OLB-101.
