We had to replace your older style of latch with all the external linkages and struts. With the older style he outside handle sagged, the mechanism was prone to bending and was not reliable. This new design is much better, the outside handle no longer sags and the latch is much more positive.

Very very true pressed with the quality of these vents. Added bonus is they are adjustable. They came packaged in a box with custom foam. Would have thought I paid $1000 for these. Will absolutely buy these again for another project.

Remote bear claw door lock
Good fit works great. Additional lock plates that are necessary for electric lock to work that are attached to the bearclaw Latch should be included with the remote Latch lock kit even if price increases. Kind of a nickle and dime item that should be included.
