Altman Easy Latch™ Lock Cylinder Keeper - 1937-1940 Ford Cars and 1948-1952 Ford Trucks
This Lock Cylinder Keeper is designed to provide internal support for installing a lock cylinder on 1937–1940 Ford Passenger Cars and 1948–1952 Ford Trucks when used with Altman Easy Latch™ systems.
Provides Lock Cylinder Mounting Support
These vehicles were not originally equipped with provisions to support a driver-side lock cylinder. This component mounts inside the door shell and provides a secure mounting point for the cylinder.
How It Works
The lock cylinder keeper aligns with the lock cylinder hole in the door and allows the cylinder to be inserted from the exterior. A set screw in the block tightens against the barrel of the lock cylinder to secure it in place.
